.Phoenix has a lame front leg that doesn't need further attention. He has some gum inflammation that we are treating.  He is desexed, vaccinated, negative to FIV and FeLV.
Phoenix was brought in to our vet's surgery  seriously ill,   suffering from flu and an acute infection in his shoulder from an abscess.  He was just seven weeks old.  He weighed 400 grams. He was cold,, unable to maintain his body temperature, too weak to eat and there were days when nobody thought he would survive.

These days Phoenix has grown up to a sweet playful boy who still tries to get a turn on my lap. Some time ago his bad start  resulted in dental disease so he had many of his teeth out.  His shoulder infection affected his leg, there were X-rays and the decision that walking with a limp was better than losing the leg .and when he runs nobody could tell anyway.

Phoenix  will be three this Christmas and it is time he found his own place in life with his own people.

He would really suit a house with other cats with a small enclosed area, verandah or attached cat enclosure however small.  He can do amazing things with that leg, jump, climb, run and rumble other cats.!
